This week was an on-site camp adventure, and what an amazing week it has been! Our Year 4 students and Year 5–6 friends had a chance to enjoy a variety of fun, creative, and hands-on activities.
We started the week with art and craft activities, where everyone let their creativity shine. Students painted colourful designs, tried their hand at clay modelling, and even made their own keychains to take home. It was fantastic seeing the unique ideas and bright smiles as they worked.
In the kitchen, we became little chefs, preparing yummy treats like ambrosia and coconut ice. Everyone loved measuring, mixing, and tasting their creations — there were plenty of giggles along the way!
Our planting projects were another highlight. Students made their own planters, thought carefully about what to grow, and planned how to look after their new plants. It was wonderful to see their excitement as they imagined how their plants would grow over time.
Of course, no camp would be complete without sports and games! Everyone got active, ran around, played team games, and had a blast outside. The energy, laughter, and teamwork were incredible to watch.
This week was all about trying new things, working together, and having fun. Everyone showed amazing creativity, enthusiasm, and kindness, making this onsite camp a truly special experience. It’s been a joy to see our students learning, playing, and creating so much while staying at school.
A huge well done to all our students! You made this week one to remember!
